Apple products are not priced the same across countries (or simply converted at the current exchange rate) because of taxes, currency/risk management, local business costs, and Apple’s pricing strategy.

Example: a product listed at $899 in the US and £899 in the UK looks identical numerically, but at the current rate (~0.74 USD/GBP as of late August 2026) pure conversion of $899 would be roughly £664.
