You can go down the route of buying some protect caddy drive cases, which I have used to great effect in the past however I found walking around with several bootable macOS external drives in caddy cases a bit taxing. In short we need a better method to carry them and keep them in a collective for easy access and to help prevent the mislaying of devices.
