If anyone has any dealings with OSX Server Licence 5.1 and above for El Capitan or MacOSX Sierra (10.11 or 10.12) will have come across PPTP is no more. For VPN you have L2TP as your only option. This is not a issue and it is a lot more secure than PPTP. Always ensuring the correct ports are open for it to work.

How do I remote into my mac, or get someone to access my machine and help me out.
This question has been around for a number of years. There are lots of remote programs out there here are the top few I find work very nice with your mac.
Top one I would always use if you don’t have access to the network you need to connect to (i.e VPN) would be Teamviewer. Free to the end user, paid service for commercial user.
Recently came across an issue registering a Apple TV 3 inside a sky broadband network. Seems one of the ports is not open thus allowing the Apple device register over the internet. I have encountered my first “Documents and Data” issue taken all the available space on a iPad( iPhone has the same issue) If you only have 16GB version then the chances of this one appearing are high.

MacOS Sierra has arrived released on the 20th Sept 2016.
Having installed it on a number of test machines over the past few days the installation has been fine. I have to say compared to El Capitan upgrade last year MacOS Sierra so far has been a great improvement.
